Tidewatch Command

Tidewatch Command puts you in charge of a string of harbor towns and asks you to keep them standing against escalating raids. It's part base-building, part tactical planning, and the balance between the two is what makes it click. You're always short on something, and deciding what to sacrifice is the fun part.

Battles play out on a grid where terrain and unit placement matter more than numbers. I lost plenty of towns early on because I over-invested in offense and forgot to defend my supply routes. Once it clicked, the puzzle-like planning became addictive.

It respects your time, too. Missions are bite-sized, and you can pause mid-plan and come back later without losing your train of thought.
